All of our shared servers have identical specifications, and we continuously monitor them for performance issues. Website Transfer Process
Please be aware that the transfer process will likely take longer than the time required to resolve any performance-related issues you may be experiencing on your current server.
If you feel that you absolutely must change servers, we offer the following transfer process:
- Order a new hosting account of the same type you wish to have moved. Please note that the new account will not become active until payment has been received.
- Begin the process of transferring your site content and databases to your new hosting account.
AhostPal does not provide free content transfers in this situation, but you may obtain a free quote for this service by submitting a ticket to our Migrations department.
Note: For lateral migrations, we can only provide assistance (free or otherwise) for server performace-related issues.
3. Update your nameservers (DNS) at your domain registrar to point to the new server.
4. Wait at least 72 hours for nameserver propagation to complete, and then cancel your previous hosting account.
